怒ってる？ ― orange-faced

人が怒っているときのカラーは間違いなく“赤”だと思うのですが、オレンジ色とも表現されるのでしょうか？辞書には載っていません。

Astrosは米ナショナルリーグのチームですが、トレードに関するチーム間の情報が漏洩し、主に選手に関するセンシティブな情報などがあからさまになる事態に至っているようです。

記事を読むと、"(The Astros were) furious"ということですので、"orange-faced"は“怒っている”という意味なのでしょうが、このような用例はコーパスでも見当たりません。

"orange"という名詞、形容詞そのものの意味にも、怒りなどの感情を示唆するような意味は無く、タイトルにこの表現を使った記者の意図がよく分かりませんね。

1つ可能性としてあるのが、Astrosのロゴやユニフォームのカラーにオレンジが含まれている、ということなのですが、"orange-faced"は引用符付きで用いられているわけでもなく、よｌく分からないところです。
